I found the return line (red)...replace primer pump, loosen return line, pump primer until loosened line leaks fuel, tighten loose line, pump primer until tight and give her a go!?

    Wanted to recap 24D3CE7C-97DA-4832-B2F7-8F6DB4C58FB0.jpeg

Yes, take the line completely loose and pump until you have a steady stream of fuel and no air. Tighten line back up and pump until primer is hard. At that point you should show pressure on your fuel pressure gauge. Start engine

I loosened that line and pumped the new primer until my arm was hurting and no fuel came out the line. I didn't take it off completely. At times the new primer pump had so much pressure that fuel would shoot out the top like the old one was doing. I had the batteries charging for 5 hrs and attempted to start it and put the charger on 200a start setting before I did. It turned over real slow again.
I pulled all the batteries and took them this morning to get tested. One of them was pulled 11.0 volts and the others were 12.6. He said in a series of batteries, you're only as strong as the weakest one. He gave me a new one. Not going to try it today...It was 62 yesterday and snowing today. Going to wait until it's warm on Sun.
If this does not work, I'm going to get it towed somewhere..

If no fuel came out of that line you either didn't loosen it enough (just take it completely off) or it was the wrong line(which from your picture it should be the right one). Or something is completely screwed up. If you are on Facebook check out cat engine masters 3. Lots of good people with great knowledge

It was definitely the right hose, I followed it from the back of the head. The idiots that painted the block painted the hose and the connectors, so I could only loosen the lower nut where it connects to the filter block. The other nut on the hose is what seems locked on. When I attempt to screw it off the hose wants to kink on the block because the other nut won't turn. Therefore, I just loosened it as much as I could.

I had my neighbor pump it while I filmed the new pump for you all.

Yeah you need to get that hose loose. One wrench on the fitting in the base another on the hose fitting and a another on the hose to keep it from twisting to break it loose from the paint and corrosion.

There should be a check valve upstream from the primer right? Is it possible that you have a frozen check valve? Maybe it froze in it’s seat?. Maybe try finding the head pressure line instead of the return line?. I don’t know what else it could be, you definitely have pressure on the primer so after new filters your next component should be check valve before the head right? If the only variable was temperature I don’t know what else could it be.

Sorry I cannot be of much help with your engine.
