I wish my company had more guys hired like that. He was thorough with his inspection. Yes, some of the issues he identified would not affect a DOT inspection. I think it's good he made you aware of them. I've seen rightups from roadside inspections for items that are marked on over half your list. If anything he did you a favor!!!!

One of our cars were in the shop today I managed to get under it and ran my eye over everything front to back under there.
Found a split gasket at the end of the tie rod on the right. It wont hold grease. Solution, replace that 40 dollar tie rod before the rest of that front end went out of whack.
Found the oil pan gasket is bad. A thousand leaks. So thats where that oil is going. Its going to be a 800 dollar bill to replace due to all the factory BS that chevy built onto the pan. UGH. Thats getting replaced next week.
Nicky picky? Certainly. Brake lines were perfect. Even the fuel tank was pristine. I asked the owner you wash that under there?

Praise god, usually a foot of dirt, grease and grime. -
All listed are serious issues, maybe except the upside down windshield, but that doesn't matter if it has a crack(s) especially on the driver side. If one side of your truck is higher than the other. Then you have weak leaf springs, the bushings are rotted out, the u bolts holding the spacers underneath the front could be loose allowing the spacers to walk from there proper position. Either way the things on your list are things you must fix. Hell not knowing if your truck has the proper amount of oil is just for your convenience. To keep you from throwing away money in an engine, due to it locking up from improper lubrication.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
