Look at the angle of the straps. This is roof decking. Someone got on the brakes?

 

Looks like it stayed on, so I wouldn't fault him for having to get on the binders.

 

Not a day goes by someone doesnt make me stab the oh dang pedal in NC or knoxville.

 

Last night i was crossing knoxville in proximity of a truck that i guess was from mexico by the spanish instead of english on the bunk. It was a flat full of mix and match rusty I-beam layed down like an H. 3 tiers worth. 6 chains on it total.

AND EVERY ONE OF THEM was flapping in the wind. The lower ones that i could see were sagging into the H of each beam that they crossed. And i was never able to make out any binders on the load. Either there were none or all had snapped open. It wasnt safe to take or pic or probably be within 100feet of so i bolted before the grand finale on that circus.

 

I expect that from a western express backhauler but not a tridem stepdeck behind a classic truck with a headache rack.
