Coronavirus - Will drivers have any way to get out of a city quarantine if their not sick?

The last pilot I fueled up at in Clovis NM had the most spotless keypads at the pumps I've seen in my entire life. Apparently somebody had them all wiped down and shined up with something like tire shine lol. Hopefully they also sanitized them. I use gloves when fueling anyway because I see that most of the other drivers don't even wash their hands after wiping their ### in the restroom.

I drove from Texas to Phoenix on US 60/87 because I like to take the scenic route instead of boring old I 40.

 

I don't see why some think they will get stuck in some closed city. They would not stop the trucks because everyone need stuff. This is not China, if anything they might stop the HOS rules when Hurricane hits if it actually gets bad. I don't think it will make a big impact. People are over reacting.

Their is a Toilet Paper factory in PA let see how many loads my company sends me their to pickup. I haven't been their in like 2 years and just drove empty by the place the other day because they sent me empty 450 miles. I guess the TP loads don't pay much yet

 

Australian TP plants shifted to 24/7 production, three shifts just recently. Probably with some reluctance.

Why are Australians wiping so much and do they wrap their whole hand like a catchers mit? I go through 1 roll every 3 weeks but they are saying a family uses 10 rolls a week. That is absolutely rediculous

Our local stores are bare now of cheap variety. I have a years on hand so no need to go out and get more.

Fun fact out of all this corona scare is...if you try handing out coronas people panic an run away screaming. (Not really)
