Impeding traffic laws pending in South Carolina

Part of the issue is that there are two lane interstates and it's unavoidable. In Jersey we have like 48 lane interstate and all of it is still locked motionless twice a day anyway so... *Shrugs.

For the most part, you will see the Swifts and CREnglands and Primes in the right lanes.

 

South Carolina has the worst drivers in the dang country. Good luck getting old miss Betty to move over when shes doin 45 in that left lane.

 

Honestly, every state should be ticketing drivers in the left lane that are NOT passing another vehicle. They should also ticket those in the right lane that speed up to keep said passing vehicle from passing.

 

Do they plan to hire an additional 25,000 troopers to enforce this new law? How do you codify what "impeding traffic" actually is?
I know we all think we know the answer is, but in actual law, a lot more is required.

 

Easy, unless it is stuck rush hour traffic, if you are not passing the car on the right, you are impeding traffic. Common sense. I don't think you need 25k more LEOs. A few enforcement blitzes should start getting people to see that it is happening and abide.

 

Won’t be much of a problem once they implement the speed limiters.
