Dont lie about your past. If you did something stupid just tell em. So many get kicked out for lying and if they just told em up front they would of been fine.

Cool. As far as my past goes, like criminal history, there's nothing there that could harm me. I've read so much on how people have been sent home for not being honest.

I saw you only get 2 days to study for your test as well. Luckly for me, I study a good 3-4 hours every night at work, and even go as far as to printing out the CDL practice tests from online, do em', and grade em' on my own. It's funny how people get to school expecting to just whizz past on the test and get a perfect 100%, when they hadn't ever studied their stuff in the first place. If you're really serious and passionate about something, it's just natural to want to study and learn as much about it as you can.

JJ went to Central with a good attitude two years ago, but he has noticed the changes as a Lease OP, he also trains and keeps in contact with his students who are company drivers!!!

His first student and his family were evicted from there house a while back when they couldn't pay the rent! He got a crappy DM and his truck was in the shop all the time!

Yep luck of the draw on your FM, You were lucky to get a good FM some aren't as lucky!!

Let me know what you think in another 21 months!

If you get an FM/DM that you're unhappy with, you do have the option to get someone new, is that correct?

Gee Youngblood did you go into trucking with the right attitude (sarcasm here)

I really have no idea why people choose to disbelieve the information posted here in the last week!

Like I'm sure Central called all the new guys starting and told them they have an idle policy, there pay was going to be a penny less then advertised, that they wouldn't be getting an on-time bonus.

Oh and if you say anything about the over idle they tell you to go sit in a truck stop for your 10hr break.

Thank god we don't have the idle problem as L/Os and JJ also has an APU!!

At least as L/Os Central can't drop our pay a penny a mile :biggrin_25511:
