Extra lights? No thanks...
I do not care to call attention to myself. And although I am a pretty good mechanic, including electrical, I do not care to work on #### on the road.
Our trailers (~150 Great Dane and Utility 53' reefers 2017 and newer) all have the factory five lights upper and lower on the sides, and four tail/stop/turn on the rear...that is enough to not look like a crappy fleet-spec trailer while not shouting "Look at me!".
As far as legality of additional lights not working, why would you have that crap on your truck and not working? If you are not able to do a near-factory quality installation, either pay a professional to do it or leave it off.Roberts450 and 650cat425 Thank this. -
