Right now it’s pretty slow but when it picks up $1500-2000 Monday through Friday working 8 hours usually. But if you work the full 11 i would say guaranteed 2000+ and if you work weekends 2500+

That’s crazy! I was working at Chicago Intermodal Transportation averaging $2600-$2800 for five days. But the dispatchers there give the good loads to their fav drivers. I’m looking at Bear Cartage right now. What lanes do you run there?
-
I just do cross towns , maybe 3-4 customers a week usually anywhere between ns 63 - bnsf willow for cross towns and no customer farther then 50 miles typically 20-30 miles. I’m kind of lazy and don’t like traffic i just prefer smooth day’s
-
Do they still have a lot of cross towns or you just prefer doing cross towns over customers?
-
Well it’s super slow know but yeah they usually always have cross towns and weekends have plenty too
-
So then I’m guessing there are regional ops that make 500-600$ more a week than you? Can you tell me any lanes they do i.e. Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan?
-
They don’t have regional just local with paper logs pretty much any rail yard in Chicago or close
-
Farthest load maybe Rockford or Michigan city 100 mile radius max
