Wife’s friend is going nuts because her cruise is canceled for the first week of April.

They would cry like babies, say that it's unfair, and whine about wanting free stuff.

You know, like they do everyday.

$45,000 on 19,000 miles. 2.31/mi hub miles. 1 cent better then last weeks per mile average but 2500 more miles. Good sign. I’m hoping for some big rate hikes next week considering all the shelves are empty. Brokerage did very well this week so I’m happy. Can’t ask for anymore in “bad” times.

TallJoe and Scooter Jones Thank this.

Keep in mind that the frenzy can elevate to where people are not wanting to work, stay home and wait it out. Let's hope it won't come to this.

I was reading about the swine flu in US 2009 and 2010 and the numbers looked quite dramatic too. Obama declared the flue a national emergency in October 2009 and by that time since April that year, there was 4000 related deaths on U.S. soil. The number exceeded 12 000 before it was over. Total of 59 million contracted the virus and 265 000 were hospitalized.
I don't recall such a media hype back then or people reacting like that...Do you?

BTW. I just dry coughed.... into my elbow.

lynchy, stuckinthemud and sealevel Thank this.
