Turbo to manifold gasket

    My turbo gasket should have 2 ports as shown in the first picture beicase my turbo and manifold have 2 ports. I have a gasket that fits but is an open box as shown in the second pic. Any reason why I can’t use the open box gasket that you can think of? I mean after all, it’s equal amount of exhaust gasses go through the ports right and both are spinning the same single turbine wheel. Thoughts?     It should seal fine. Flow will get a bit of turbulence due to the gap in the middle vs smooth transition from manifold to gasket to turbo.

    It will work, but the preferred gasket would be the Cat 1S-4295. The cheapo with BW turbo kit in my experience doesn't hold up more than two years.
