Morons. Absolute morons. The fools who do not evecuate when told to should have to pay for any services used to rescue their sorry butts.

    I agree totally.

It is like the fools that drive in the blizzards here and cause the rescue workers to risk their lives for them since they did not have common sense.

I agree totally. I feel sorry for their injuries. But I do believe they should be made to pay for the cost off all services rendered to them. I live on a small island and it is a regular occurrence for rescuers to have to put their lives in danger pulling people out of the surf during red flag conditions. This happened several times in the past two weeks when the storms (Hurricane Bill & Tropical Storm Danny) past off the east coast.

Amen! I am getting so #### tired of it! These fools do this crap, and then someone else has to risk their lives to save them...

I am still flabbergasted! What in the H%#$ were they thinking? And these were supposed to be grown adults! I hope they don't have kids. And if they don't, please please don't get any ideas of having any.

This is a very good reason to learn to be self aware of your own surroundings and environment! Living on a small island, I would head for higher ground or mainland when the hurricanes approached.

I've seen the fools sit in Three Rivers when the big fires approach, when Evac orders have been issued... there is only one road out... Why do these fools try to sit these things out??

I don't really feel sorry for their injuries, so much as I do for their "stupid"...

Very true. When I was active in the Fire Department and Rescue squad I had to stay. Now that I am inactive when they say go. I am gone. Mother nature is not something to play with. It is sad that people have to find out the hard way.
