Trucking in North America vs around the world

Im not familiar with demoulas, is that a regional chain? How many stores in the chain that need extra stock because of the run on supplies? A truck being a day late isn't a big surprise in these situations. They only had x number of trucks, warehouse space, and employees now trying to do twice the work due to a sudden surge in sales volume.

 

Yes very large New England chain maybe 50-75 stores (guess) and 2 dc that I know of...

They run their own trucks from dc to stores....

 

When I was a kid The Canadians had quilted winter fronts that covered the whole front face......

Organized? Like all countries we have x number of citizens abroad at any given time. The only difference is they all wanted to come home at the same time. What else could they do? Close down the airport to everyone else except those returning from over seas?

 

They could have kept them seperate.
On the planes or in segregated area's off the airport.
Not put them together in one big line .

 

I went back to the store today and they were restocking..... no eggs or flour today but had some tp, pasta and potatoes.

 

The overflow that couldn’t go inside the house.....

 

The stores from that chain up here are called Market Basket.
