Did all of that info about the $425 each week, $0.20/mile stuff just come up, because we watched the forums, and then the website and saw the previous change come through. I just want to make sure we aren't missing information that changes in 2 days time frame?
-
Thank you so much, Jess. That makes me feel a little better. I know a starter company is rough, as does my hubby. You are right, we don't know the good days, but some times things have to get worse before they get better, right???
I'm trying to be optimistic about our next year or so.
-
I will have to check into the 425 but i really think it is 450 for all or weeks of training.
the CPM is 28cpm down from 29. you get 8 cents of that not taxed as per diem which works out as 21cpm taxed at the old rate down to 20 cpm taxed. JJranch.mama mia Thanks this. -
You get that extra 8 cents on your checks, correct? I understand it's not taxed, so just making sure..
-
yes you will get paid at 28cpm just 8 cents per mile is not taxed classified as perdiem
-
Ok, thanks a lot for that!

When JJ went to Central my last words to him at the airport were: You can deal with anything for a year!!
Its been almost 2 yrs now.mama mia Thanks this. -
For what it's worth... the changes my recruiter sent to me last week were $450 for all weeks of training and $.28cpm.jjranch Thanks this.

Oh JJ, you left yourself soooooo wide open with a remark like that!!!
Will be a gentleman tho and say nothing.
Am sitting in our yard at Rockwall, Tx at the moment. Guess they no longer have a 2nd shift of mechanics here. Hopefully will get my truck worked on in the morning and be able to hit the road again. Probably get a reset out it also.
Talked to a guy running for National # 3weeks ago. He was making good money being leased to them but he not only ran meat loads, he did the bull haulin also. Might think about National myself but unfortunately, they won't hire from the comapny I'm presently with. The owner of this company used to own National till he took partners on and somehow got squeezed out. Oh well.jess-juju Thanks this.
