Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

One dude was a fellow Italian, so we got along good, but he was from South Detroit, Nuf said. If you are not squeaky clean, and i mean they are going to look up your ##### with a mag glass. And drug test don't bother showing up.

 

Everything wen't very well for me at Central, Untill I tried to Leave.

 

Ah, I gotcha'. Well, there's nothing wrong with my background or history, so I should be ok in that deparment. What happened when you tried to leave?

 

I put in delete post and it did not haappen. Well without a bunch of political huff and puff, I was asking for more money, because so many things were coming out of our pockets. First they slowed the trucks down. Then they made us sign this mandatory fuel idol policy that was total crap. You could sleep in the freezing cold in a volvo all night and start your truck for a few minutes, it would take you a thousand miles to drive it down on your qualcom. I always managed to make fuel bonus though. We had a TAS system that starts your truck automatically but if you left it on you would go broke. Then the final straw was the electronic logs, read up on those. I don't have to tell you, you will find out for yourself why Central is on E-Logs. If anybody tells you they like them, they are lieing. It simply means automatic pay reduction.<<<< and thats a period.

 

Don't get me wrong, there are good people at Central. I have to say I really like Jon the Head Cheese he is a stand up guy, and not too many top dogs have an open door policy. Carl is a great guy too, alot of other good people there. But the dispatchers I would say about 25% know what they are doing and know how to treat people, hence the turnover rate and thier DOT fiasco. Look in the books you can find that one.

 

Okay sooo what is up with all these posts about you guys saying centeral is a sinking ship??..are they going bankrupt or what?....explain!!!!....whats up with the new drivers? i heard their sending alot of them from the fontana one to slc...

OK. i am getting nervous reading the post I leave Saturday for school. All the comments about CRS sinking ship and students being sent home on there first day are really starting to scare me. I have a clean background, not in the best shape of my life but healthy enough to drive for my current company.

 

Thats all Ive been hearing..is that its going bankrupt and everyone is gonna try to get into another trucking buisness..in like january nshit...
