I love how paper making is approved, but logging isn't. Just curious how they're going to make pulp and eventually paper without pulpwood/wood chips?

Yes, I know there is food grade paper. There is also shipping packaging paper, super calendered, and tissue. I deliver chemicals to the mills here in Maine all the time. There is an army of pulpwood and chip trucks that go in and out all day long. Each mill goes through more wood and chemicals in a day that one might realize, so it wont take long to go through the wood in the yard. A mill might have 1 to 2 weeks worth of wood, without deliveries.
On another note, a few of the mills in PA. produce tissue paper, which is used to make toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, tissues, and wipes. All the stuff people are going bonkers for.DEllis Thanks this. -
