Am I the only 1 to think that EOBRs are going to keep me from making $???

I have averaged a TRUE 66mph in a 65mph truck, load east to west, across wyoming. I only grossed 50k and did not slow up hills, and let it run 75 downhill. I averaged 66mph that day. I peed in a bottle, and made all my meals while driving....thats what I HAD to do due to needing to complete my full 11hrs driving, to get to a truck stop 715 miles from my starting point, allowing me to be able to take 10hrs off and make the 500 miles to my appt the next day 30 min early.
Thats why I hate on board recorders....with paper logs, I could have driven in shorter shifts and slept my need 6-7hrs instead of 10hrs off.... 10hrs is too much imho.
Now I work till I am tired and then sleep 6-9hrs, if I am tired i stop and sleep, if I am feeling good I drive.
I know I am risking my freedom if I get into an accident, but I disregard subjective laws, for better or worse. If I am at fault in the accident so be it, but if the car was in the wrong, I hope 12 will acquit me. I THOROUGHLY disagree with the prosecution of drivers on "should not have been there", it is bull ####. Ok if i did not cheat, I may not have been there, BUT using the law's logic, who is to say If I was not there, a bus full of kids weren't there.

The reason for this is until this year Qualcomm/GPS was not used during standard log sudits. Beginning this year it has become standard to now use them for all log audits when available.
Companies are now required to furnish GPS data for standard log audits.
The reality is given today's technology, along with RFID's they know where and when you were there should they need that information. -

I do not recall if this little factoid was mentioned......CELL Phones........They all have GPS tracking on them...just ask Scott Peterson about that.......

Are we all agreed then, if we have to comply with HOS regs 100%, then we will be limited in our ability to make money?
Drivers are going to make their bills on less miles! and if you cant...oh well, too bad! Like I said, maybe our glorious leader will take care of my family and I.
Once again, the rich will get richer and who gives a rat's butt about the poor! -
No we are not in agreement. Most drivers will do just fine. There will be an adjustment period. But most will be just fine. Companies have been using EOBR for years. It's called a QuallComm.

I'm paperless and average anywhere from 530 to 630 miles per day in a truck governed at 62 mph. Actual miles driven depends upon weather and terrain. (Lower, obviously, when crossing mountains.)
It's all about stopping when you're supposed to stop (i.e., don't stop when you're supposed to be driving!) -
I agree, it will take time to adjust, but I think in the long run maybe it will force shippers and recievers to be more flexible in their delivery times, I have picked up at many of these places where they expect you there first thing next day when it is nearly impossible, it may force companies to have pay us for all waiting time, and perhaps one day we will all be paid by the hour
Some peole never want to let go of the old ways, I never liked the qualcomm when it first came out but it has come in handy a few times,
