Hi noobie, welcome to the thread and thanks for joining!
To answer your question from the documentation they provided me...

** We are introducing a new program designed to promote wellness by helping our employees eliminate ALL
Tobacco products from their life. The Medical Plan will now provide benefits for Tobacco Cessation treatment.
In addition, the new program will implement a surcharge (payroll deduction increase). If you cannot confirm "Tobacco Free" status, your normal payroll bi-weekly deduction cost (shown above) will be increased by $20 and will continue at the increased level. [by that I understand it to mean the second column with $20 factored in already (note by OP)]

First $250 to be paid by the employee on all services (except Wellness).

You can go to any doctor you want and no referrals are needed.
Pharmacy (RX) Deductible: $75.00 per Calendar Yer per person. (First $75.00 to be paid by the employee for all RX services).
Prescription Coverage: is through Express Scripts (ESI)

90-day supply mail order prescriptions through Express Scripts Pharmacy or SMART90 Network Pharmacies can be purchased for $20.00 generic, $70.00 brand co-pay and $140.00 non-preferred brand."
The also have dental, vision, AFLAC and Employee Choice (HSA if I understand it correctly) plans on top of the above.
Hope that helps! Stay safe and healthy!

Good luck, I’ve wondered about them in the past. I love seeing their turnpike doubles running Masspike for Wegman’s. Very nice looking tractors they seem to pull with.
dieselsneezle Thanks this. -
Thanks for joining McUzi.
I haven't yet heard any mention of doubles from my new boss or HR and even Beth the recruiter who got me into the company, but then with the mass hysteria of this ridiculous propagandemic going on things are kinda slowed down with regards to my getting started in earnest.
Latest update I have to report is that I went out to the Rensselaer terminal this past Wednesday to have my company paid DOT physical and piss test and to do the preliminary road test.
Got my two year DOT certification once again (6 months after my self-paid one which I got before starting CDL school last September) although I haven't yet heard about the test results. Don't expect any surprises with that though.
Road test was interesting. Wasn't nervous at all but #### was I rusty after 5 months of not double clutching lol. They actually had me haul an empty tanker around a portion of Albany but it was a ghost town due to the panic so all good there, just had an interesting time trying to find gears on the downshift. The trainer said to me "give me a week or two and I'll knock the rust off ya" lol.
So before the crack of dawn on Monday I'll be driving out from North Western Mass back to the terminal to start a 1-2 week paid refresher course while the company figures out how and when they can safely start me with an on the road trainer driving actual cargo. I'll get some money in the short term anyways @ 17.10 training rate/hr which is better than nothing. Just hope Cuomo pulls his head out of his butt and puts an end to this quarantine nonsense so people can go back to work and stop behaving like scared mice. The Spice must Flow!McUzi Thanks this. -
Good luck. I ran out of that terminal many moons ago when it was filled with R model Macks. It used to be across the street next to Sprague. Last I knew the concrete slab is still there where the building was.dieselsneezle Thanks this.

There's still a sign for Sprague on the opposite side of the road a short distance before you reach the terminal lot but I haven't paid much attention to the surrounding area. I'm sure I'll become more familiar with the area in due course.
Were you with RIST or ARG division? Both use that terminal. -
I was leased on to ARG back in the 90s. When the fuel and asphalt got slow in between seasons I did some Rist loads to the Hannaford stores every now and then. That was a gravy account.
-
Gotcha.
Ah the 90's, some of the best years of my life and some of the worst. Was living overseas back then in Belgium and for a shorter span in France.Derailed Thanks this. -
Have the opportunity to work for RIST doing pickup and delivery. I was curious if anyone has any inside on them. About hours, pay and what not. I'm looking for long term company has anyone been around with them long is it a good company to get on with?

Bump anyone have any experience with RIST?
