Most of this is fear in your heads. Stop digging up stats and what ifs. Put down the phone and look around, life is still normal and will stay that way if you let it. We survived the ice age, the acid rain, the smog, the polar ice caps, rising oceans, and all the other BS theyve been propagandizing at us for decades. Stop worrying.
Im living my life 100% as normal and have no anxiety about catching it or starving or anything else. My garden is planted, theres deer in the freezer and water in the creek. Ive wiped with newspaper before, it didnt kill me.
Praise the Lord.TokyoJoe, LoSt_AgAiN, swervyjoe and 9 others Thank this. -

Don't like what I say, just ignore it.
I have seven people under my roof infected, two of them have difficulties with it, one of them has four signs if it and the rest are showing one or two signs.
All of us except the two have not been tested because we don't qualify to be tested - which is a joke.
I was told last week because my exposure was confirmed, there is no need to be tested.
It is the flu, it isn't like Spanish influenza where the person's own immune system went nuts and attacked the persons body and fill their lungs up with fluid but it is the flu like the other six to nine that pop up annually.
My kid has it the worst, she has an IV in her arm to be hydrated, she is doing better today than she has in the past week but to her it isnt as bad as the flu she had three years ago where she was in the hospital for a week.
It is a strain of Coronaviridae that surprised the world, and it is highly contagious but not as deadly as many make it out at. With 2.3% mortality world wide so far, it is far below the seasonal flu which this year is at 7.2% - source CDC.
Incubation is between two and fourteen days for this strain, average at seven days but being contagious seems to last 21 days, fr right now it is unusual because humans are not immune to it, so two days symptoms appear and you are contagious and spreading it.
The means of controling it is to isolate and remove the mobile carriers (humans) from spreading it, this is where the problem really is, people don't want to be isolated.
Ask Philadelphia what?
Spanish influenza still happens today, so does the plague and other epidemics. But we are generally immune to those.TokyoJoe, LoSt_AgAiN, truckdriver31 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I'm at my delivery and when I headed into the receiving office I went straight for the bathroom to wash my hands, which may have cost me a spot in line for a door, which is fine with me.

This is the perfect song for today and it came out in 1987 !

Dogs of war and men of hate
With no cause, we don't discriminate
Discovery is to be disowned
Our currency is flesh and bone
Hell opened up and put on sale
Gather 'round and haggle
For hard cash, we will lie and deceive
Even our masters don't know the web we weave
One world, it's a battleground
One world, and we will smash it down
One world, one world
Invisible transfers, long distance calls,
Hollow laughter in marble halls
Steps have been taken, a silent uproar
Has unleashed the dogs of war
You can't stop what has begun
Signed, sealed, they deliver oblivion
We all have a dark side, to say the least
And dealing in death is the nature of the beast
One world, it's a battleground
One world, and we will smash it down
One world, one world
The dogs of war don't negotiate
The dogs of war won't capitulate,
They will take and you will give,
And you must die so that they may live
You can knock at any door,
But wherever you go, you know they've been there before
Well winners can lose and things can get strained
But whatever you change, you know the dogs remain.
One world, it's a battleground
One world, and we will smash it down
One world, one worldLoSt_AgAiN, Brandt, tommymonza and 1 other person Thank this.
