Hello,
That 25% of gross is hard to estimate for someone not working in your company.
What is the median paycheck amount for your driver?Veteran driver Thanks this. -
I hate to sound cliche, but that depends entirely on how you want to run.
I only advertise $1000-1250/week ($4-5000 gross/ week).
If you have good work ethic and not too many restrictions on how you wish to run, there is no doubt in my mind that you can average $1500+. Maybe even more, rates are up right now and the freight is out there.
Give me a call/text/email if you want to speak more about this matter. Thanks.
Respectfully, -
25% of the gross of what? How transparent are you with your revenue? Is there a minimum a driver will be paid regardless if the truck makes money?
-
I am 100% transparent with revenue.
I have never run into that problem yet, because of a lack of freight. If the truck wasn't making money in the past, it was because the driver chose not to move. No, I did not pay him during that time. But I'm an understanding person, if there was a lack of freight, I'm sure we could work something out. Dependent upon your integrity/work ethic of course.
I still have 1 truck open. Give me a call. Hiring immediately.
Respectfully, -
Are you still hiring? and what is the drug test process like for out of towners can i take it the state im in and then come to you guys or what
-
I talked to the recruiter. Seemed like a nice guy. Sent all my info in then waited. Had to call him back only to be told they didn’t have any available trucks. I guess these recruiters think jumping through their hoops is an easy process. Plain lack of respect. Glad I found up front.

Got a call from Ellis. He said they had a truck opening up. Would I like to come on board? What kind of truck, I asked. He replied, a 2012 Mack automatic. I didn’t realize they had automatics in 2012. Anyhoo I could almost smell the last 30 sweaty drivers who have operated that truck.
I respectfully declined.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
@chilibowl how much is the pay is it w2 or 1099. Hourly or percentage pay.
