I can get the Zinc Coated Winches at Mytee.com for the same price as the black ones on there competitor's site. My trailer has the black metal ones and they are rusted and a couple have broken due to rust. Is there a down side to the Zinc coated ones?? All I've ever used are the standard ones, but I have seen the Zinc coated ones on some trailers?

They don’t rust out near as fast. Few years on some of mine, some are getting slight rust around wear spots where the winches spin. -

Last week on Monday while on that construction job the guy running the big loader in very tight quarters had all the windows covered in mud except where the wiper sweep was. Like you couldn’t see the driver from outside. On Wednesday afternoon I gave him my brand new can of glass cleaner, paper towels and a scrubbier to clean his windows.
I mean drivers had to sit in the cab wearing vest, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toed boots while being loaded but no thought of the guy driving the loader being able to see.
We have to sit in the truck during loading but free to get out and strap while the loader is stacking stuff right next to the trailer.
People are blind to common sense.Isafarmboy, RoginVa, cke and 1 other person Thank this.
