Not sure if they are getting a bailout or not, wouldn't surprise me if they would try to be pigs at the trough. I do know that congress is getting a $39k per year raise out of the bailout though. Also the refugee resettlement program is getting like $350 million, yeah we need more refugees here now!

Capital One got bailed out after the oil prices fell too much. Turned into a existential threat against them.

The others had already shut down. Went by Rythym City in Davenport, IA last night and it was all but deserted.

Mohegan Sun sent out they are paying the help as usual, Prairie Meadows near Des Moines, ditto.

Many seem to be doing deep cleaning or renovations. I don't know how the people with the compulsion too great will fare, though.

Online is probably going great guns about now.

They'll last as long as every other multi-billion company. Casinos, Disney World/Land/etc, Cruise lines, etc etc.

    I'm not worried about casinos.

Travel an Tourism industry is hitting new lows daily. Same with the food side. All these places staying open with carryout/delivery...their not keeping full staffs. Then there's all the ones hat aren't or can't be open.

Lots of industries taking a hit. I ain't worried about the companies but all those places employ a crap ton of people.

One thing is for sure though...when this passes, people will gamble again, people will go on vacations again, etc. Won't be as quick as the down turn but I'm thinking it won't take long for the travel/tourism industry to get back on it's feet.

I remember one time he flew in to Las Vegas from Macao, China in his private jet. It was loaded with cash. Probably legal money since he's worth over $38 billion and owns
Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and the parent company of Venetian Macao Limited, which operates The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the Sands Expo and Convention Center. He owns the Israeli daily newspaper Israel Hayom, Makor Rishon and the American daily newspaper Las Vegas Review-Journal.

I thought Online was illegal in USA.

Casinos are closed here. I think we are three. Pine Bluff, Oaklawn and a Indian Lands near Fayetteville.

I suspect we will close what is left soon. Several of my tiny shops that I use for hobby and so forth are staying open for now but are essentially already preparing to be closed. Ive made arrangements with orders and such with them so if they are closed everything between me and them is square. No one will lose money except the store that needs to be closed. Will they still be in business come august? I don't think so. There is a major show in Jacksonville center for Auguest that hosts about 1000 visitors related to a hobby locally. That one will probably be shut. It can happen anytime. If it did get shut its going to be such a economic loss to so many people.

I am actually getting ready to purchase a small number of games, run of the mill card games, pac man and so on for the ex who is bored with solitare already and a couple of new for me games so I can hunt humans in gaming. Or even doodle with a trucking sim again. Ugh.

There is one more activity that I think is taking off. You have your ladies of the night being more active locally meaning surrounding areas. So I think more people will engage in that kind of play time. My personal feelings about that does not matter. We are a people that requires social time with other people. Bans or not.
