Thanks for your courteous comment.
I believe the number is closer to 12 million, half being Mexican.
That is the problem with this debate. Teamsters, OOIDA, Public Citizen and others, lacking anywhere close to verifiable proof of their claims, has used the immigration debate, the "terror" card and anything else that comes to mind in order to advance their agenda.
Notice how in this latest round, they've dropped back and only OOIDA continues to spew their special brand of garbage?
It seems the last few months, all OOIDA can find is stories about drug loads being busted, usually trucks driven by Americans.
And Hoffa has been unusually quiet until now, and his comments on the latest OIG report are totally off base and irrelevant.
I would be curious as to why you ### U ME that the Spanish speaking people in the supermarket would be illegal. Illegals, as a rule, are not entitled to government freebies such as welfare, section 8, Medicare or the other gimmes.
And if they are truly illegal, but with a baby, all they would be entitled to would be WIC for the baby, and personally, I wouldn't begrudge a child or a baby, anything.
But again, thanks for the decency you showed in your comment.
What is the difference Mexican/Candian

You have told that story before, and it seems to be the exception rather than the rule. Most of us on the border require interchange agreements anytime our equipment changes hands and we enforce the provisions on both sides of the border.
And again, I'm more or less an expert on what goes on along the Texas border. Kalifornia is a whole 'nother matter where things are done much differently than in the Lone Star -
Which is it? -
What ???
Cigarettes are 20 pesos at the border. Slightly under $2 US. Even cheaper deeper in.
.87 equals about 9 pesos. Maybe more now.
.87 US is a LOT of money
Drive 2 miles for a pack of smokes in Mexico....or 7 miles in the US
Who's making more per mile????
The Mexican driver gets paid 10 smokes per mile, or 1 beer.
You get paid 3 smokes per mile....and NO beer. -
I don't smoke so I can afford the beer......and a good carne asada burrito.....
-
-
I'll drive just far enough to get my beer and my burrito.....Isn't that how it's done? -
-
what a bunch of F"ing" morons...I knew this would turn into an intelligent "big time what ever you call yourself's" conversation...keep up the great work...gone!!
-
oh and one other thing, you guys are so good, why did you not pick-up the mis-spelling of "candian"?
