Okay, they're mounted on a KW900. I'll just keep them on the 10" shaft.

An update on my antenna choice and mounting for my08 6.4 SuperDuty. Because of my heavy work load for now and the trip I'm taking with the Slide in Lance Camper I got a Firestick Fender/Hood mount with a FSII 3ft. stick/ Heavy Spring/FireRing Cable. The cable fished threw the firewall with ease but the mount took a couple of hours/piece of sq.tube for support and some ss bolts..The 08's have changed their fender design so the mount wouldn't work like of 07 and previous.
I get 1.3 on both 1 and 40. with a quick tune..I might get a little better with a good tune trial and error.
I mounted it this way so the over hang of the camper doesn't hit it. It's about a 1 1/2 ft ahead of the over the cab part. Eventually I would suspect I might have to get a NGP antenna on the camper and switch back and forth. I am going to see how this works on my trip or when I get the camper installed and SWR it again.
Eventually I might move the antenna to the roof and take it down when the camper is on..I'm glad I got those Electric lift jacks with Remote for that 4K rig..:biggrin_25520:
