Texas Roadhouse advertised steaks to go. Uncooked steaks. Didn't see any prices but I think I'll just stick with our local butcher.

The slow customer service grind is settling in.

I'm beginning to notice longer wait times on both ends of a load now. The shortage of employee staff, etc., is evident.

The receiver I'm at this morning is a fairly large company here in Portland. They are only allowing one driver inside the check-in office at a time. An office and seating area which is huge.

Looks like the STAY HOME SAVE LIVES drumbeat is having an effect.

The same ATA lobbyists who pushed for mandatory ELD & stricter HOS regulations, because it would save lives.

Well, now we can all just STAY HOME & SAVE LIVES Covid-19.

I did note the "trucking economist's" last line in the article is pretty typical these days by all the experts:

"Still, he conceded "it’s anyone’s guess when that will be."

Is it a price gouging (sort of) or having an entrepreneurial mindset? Lol
You guys tell me now...or better not.

Referring to the earlier hand sanitizer capitalist discussion...

Would be nice if insurance companies gave 1/2 off for the next three months, and or no insurance payments if your at home... just saying :)

That’s capitalism, sometimes it works for you, other times not so much. I’ve seen loads like that posted in good times too.
