So it’s peoples fault that businesses are closed coz of the so called stupid virus that’s killing people~some people can’t afford to save money a lot of people live check to check~I know people who make $100k a year and live check to check and it’s not because they live beyond their means, student loans, home repairs, car problems, child care are just a few of the things that can drain your funds. Another example is waitresses who rely on tips to supplement their incomes so if restaurants are closed how do you expect people to make or save money. And most people probably don’t even know/realize that stimulus check isn’t going to be free eventually they’ll have to pay it back. There’s a website that explains it all.

No its peoples fault that the overrreaction occured. Spend to much #### time watching tv and on the smartphone , they believe everything told them by the media is true.. If u turn that #### off its just normal business..... People died in more car crashes last year than will ever be killed by the flu. Should we ban ppl from driving ? I wish they would .

Have some questions. The government collects money via the taxes, tariffs, fees, and other sources.
The current debt is truly unfathomable.
The question is; How does the government plan to pay, cover or otherwise come up with the money for these programs they have created?

Then let the old folk stay home and be quarantined, rest of us can work. Would help ppl make some frickin money , not rely on government to pay bills.

    It's all worthless paper.
    Backed by nothing.
The bankers have been screwing us for generations.
    I've worked my whole life.
    Just part of the game.

Just look up how many die of starvation. 25,000. Every. Single. Day. When do we shut down the world for that?

I mean for #### sakes in 2018 Canadians aborted just as many babies as Coronavirus has killed worldwide so far.

Yes, we need to keep working. But not everyone is working essential work. But the nonessential work made our lives better, and now it's gone. I have been feeling that now more than ever before.

If I get a check at all I am probably going to leave larger shower cleaning tips, or give the waitress that hands me my take out order a larger sum. Because those are the people that are really hurting right now. I am not hurting at all.

One thing to keep in mind Tibbitt is previous pandemics didn't have the benefit of communication that we have now. It might appear to be an overreaction, but also look at the steps people are taking to control this thing.

In the past with other serious diseases we didn't have this benefit of communication. The Spanish flu killed up to 100 million world wide. They did not have the technology that we have now.

The CDC says this a serious disease and people are fortunately responding as such and we are dealing with it.

    It's going to be alright.
