I sit here thinking, "what about this whole thread turns my stomach?"
Schools have rules on dress, cellphone use, religion, terroristic threats, etc...etc. I am imagining what it would be like to go to school nowadays. With the uniforms and dress codes and all the other BS thats involved in going to public school.
Sounds like a little mix of a Nazi concentration camp and communist school. The only thing that will come from these type schools are weak minded, self-centered, idiots.

Change the word phone to gun, and then lets see how quick these parents pay attention. Too bad they think their little darlings would never ever ever do anything wrong in class. It YOUR little ######## who are ruining that school Mr or Miz parent.
I have said it before on this site, and ill type it again. "No kid of mine will ever attend a public school" -
I don't think it's entirely the students. Or maybe it is, since they've been growing up to be teachers.

I have another one where the kid contradicted the teacher when she told the class that a kilometer was longer than a mile. -
We have Saturday schools for kids that get into trouble. That is usually where they go if there is a sport that night being played. The school puts sports before anything else. Our kids had to go to school 2 years ago during an ice storm due to sports. When the kids came home we found out that the school didn't have electric or heat. The kids had to wear their coats and freeze their butts off for no reason. I wish the school was the way it use to be kids first sports last.

Your mindset and thinking is one of the reasons our freedoms and constitutional rights are being diminished. And no most people that stand up for freedom and constitutional rights don't have anything to hide, we just won't let the government or anybody else trample on our RIGHTS and follow along like the rest of the sheep.

Maybe we're feeding our children too much crap about having "rights". They're KIDS, for cryin' out loud! I was certainly no nazi -- but when my children were in school, they had very few "rights" in our household. They had privileges, which were earned and kept based upon their behavior.
And privileges misused were taken away. What's wrong with that??

hmmmm, back when i was in middle school, and it wasn't all that long ago. stuff like this wouldn't even be talked about. you know why? people seemed to be more intelligent back then. i believe human evolution peaked during the roman civilization. it's been a long, slow decline since then. more stories about whiners are making the headlines for whatever reason, crying because they got caught, and were stupid enough to.
i brought many things to school that weren't allowed. the difference is that i wasn't stupid enough to get caught with the contraband. once again, the ones who cry about stuff like this are usually the dumb ones who have something to hide. perhaps next time the kid has stupid photos like that on his phone, he'll be intelligent enough to either delete the pics or not take them in the first place.
i wonder how moronic the kids' parents are. sometimes it's not the child's fault they're stupid. it's sometimes due to idiotic parenting. seems to me that stupid people are procreating more rapidly than those with working brains and common sense.
if you want to live in a place where there is no government to tell you how to live your life, or run it. i highly suggest moving to somalia. -
First of all, I fail to see how photos of the kid dancing and possessing a BB gun deemed him such a hazard that he needed to be expelled for "gang related" activity.
Second of all, the school would've followed policy had they just confiscated the phone and kept it until the parents would've come to pick it up. The moment they started checking the phone's information was the moment they violated the kid's constitutional rights.
Cell phones are actually starting to become a necessity in various circumstances. You can never be too careful with your kids. Some kids just disappear walking home from school.outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
Well it's seems this is about the only part of this story we agree on but I would agree 100%. Stupid people should not reproduce.
