HEY IM STILL HERE, your friend is heresay. the only reason your friend would knowabout any kind of consultants is if he was an operations manager. i agree with 62 but havent heard a word about training pay or bonuses as you say. if you would think just for a second tmc is a privately held company, mr annent will do whatever he wants with his trucks. how would YOU EVEN KNOW that they are elimanating training pay, again this is an old issue, but maybe you need to stop misinforming people. and i do have a question for you. you have been gone for almost a year why would a training coordinator even talk to you? you were probably forgotten the day you were fired. you are not an AHI employee so maybe its time to grow up and move on. since you are apperently GODS GIFT TO ALL THINGS TMC i am done with you. you obviously know more than anyone else aboutTMC and trucking in general, so therefore i will not be responding to anymore of your comments or posts. if you would like to continue our battle that you wont win you can find me because ill still be sitting here reading your lies.

I talked to my trainer last week if you go back up a few posts, and he confirmed to me that they have eliminated training bonuses for trainers and the $.10/mile they were paying trainees to drive to and from their trainers on weekends. Call your trainer or a trainer you know and ask them, I'm sure they'll tell you the same thing.

Dude, settle. The only reason for you to be irate with eckz is if you are a TMC office staffer afraid that potential recruits are being scared off. In that case, the training pay issue is probably the last thing a recruit is thinking about. There are other things to scare them off, such as the (confirmed) turndown of the trucks, the loss of ezpass, etc.

Furthermore, not all of us former employees left on bad terms, and may still maintain contacts among TMC staff as well as drivers. Its usually called networking, and in this job market is a smart thing to do.

Hate to burst your bubble, but these are all true and you must be an inside guy or a recruiter or something so don't insult our intelligence. However, like I mentioned in my previous post, big deal. 3 mph certainly isn't enough to make me jump ship and to my knowledge of bs'ing with trainers from other companies I'm not aware of any that pay trainer bonuses beyond what you make with the extra miles of the trainee, so my guess is tmc is doing what they have to do to remain in the game. Trainers here do still get the $75 extra per week though and that's directly from the mouth of a guy I know here and has been training for a long time. I have a buddy of mine that operates about 10 trucks hauling produce and him and I talk off an on every month and there's no doubt that times are extremely tough right now. I used to do a lot of job hopping in my younger years, but I've gotten wiser with age (at least I like to think so anyway) and so far my paychecks have always made it to the bank, I can still buy fuel and tmc still pays for my tolls even without ezpass. As long as this continues and the money coming home stays the same and they can still get me home most wknds then I'm a happy camper. In such a crappy economy it's not unreasonable to expect companies to make bold changes in order to remain in business. Each of us make these kind of decisions ourselves right now at home whether it's deciding to keep cable tv for the kids and the ole lady (although if I have to watch one more episode of wife swap on the wknds when I come home I'm gonna shoot the cable box!), buying that kick butt barbeque grill or not, putting some bigger mudders on the four wheel drive, etc. Times are tough folks and the last thing I need is to have to start looking for another job.

I'm gone for over a week and this is what i come back to. This is a PM that was in my mailbox from strnspeed:

I posted something here asking for confirmation, not bashing TMC, how's that not grown up? I'll tell you what's not grown up, tracking down every single post i've ever made just to attempt debunking it, even if you have to blatantly lie to do so, you say that you are done with me, when i've been gone for over a week, and have stopped responding to you almost a month ago now... But YOU want ME to leave YOU alone? Want to hear something else? Remember flatbed fred? He left TMC too, go look that one up. Like i told you a long time ago, i don't need to drive for TMC to be more in the know than you are, i know how to be diplomatic, and whether or not you stay at a job should never dictate whether or not you keep your friends. If what you say is true, and "nobody at TMC would even talk to me" then how was my post the first one about this, and it all came true? I'm not Sylvia Brown...

Your right, my friend IS an operations manager, and guess what? It's all true. I didn't even have to confirm it, everyone else did. If you missed it, like you usually do, just scroll up. For the record, i also have friends at the shop in indy, the detention department, my old fleet manager, the people at the hotel, not to mention more drivers than you can shake a stick at, who are all laughing at you and your posts.

How about you take your own advice, and grow up, there is no point in anything that you are doing right now, you aren't proving a thing. And, if you are in the office like most people suspect you are, you are driving more recruits away with your pointless rants than i am with anything that i post. I know, I know, neither a diploma nor drug test are required to become a fleet manager, so we understand.

Also you asked me to call you out on your stereo typical Detroit rant so here it is - if people from Detroit are all "punks", then i'd really hate to live wherever you're from. And, for a more intelligent insult, i hardly think that because you made deliveries in detroit every week that makes you an expert on the type of people that live there, or are from there. I also doubt you met "everyone else" in Detroit because it's not possible, wherin lies more of your hypocracy. You keep talking about hearsay, this isn't a court of law. IT does not matter where I obtained the information, i wasn't misleading about it, and i never said it was DEFINITELY GOING TO HAPPEN. I simply said that i heard it. Until there is a password protecting this section of the forums from Non-TMC drivers, i will continue to post here and converse with my friends, last i checked it wasn't against the rules. NOtarps drives (or drove) for Maverick, one of TMC's biggest competitors, you don't see us whining and crying that he's posting here do you?
