Cellular phones destroyed the English language, and probably most other languages too. Don't get hung up on proper grammar too much. It doesn't mean that person doesn't have things to teach you. That person could have just been in a hurry and/or their phone made incorrect modifications to their message that they didn't catch because their wife screamed at them to hurry up.
Even if they have issues with writing English correctly, that has no bearing on their ability to understand how things work.

Guns and gold are well and good. but they will only keep you alive for a few extra months. We will hunt animals to extension in a few months, at most. And pull most fish out of water. So what is your guns going to do for you after that? Also gold is valuable but it's not valuable to a person that is hungry. Gold is only as valuable as the person perceives it that's looking at it.
So the thing we need to appreciate is not to get to that point.
Asians. The Chinese are integrated into our society. We are seeing that now first hand because 30% of our toliet paper is supplied by them. So that's why the shelves are empty, because that supply chain is broken right now. We also get tp supply from Oregon and Canada.
The best thing we can keep doing right now is keep doing business with them. We don't want conflict or to have our discomfort extended. So what do you do? You continue doing business with them. They are not going to want to do anything that jeopardizes anything that makes their lives better, just like we don't want it either.
We are moving more and more global whether we like it or not. It's been moving that way since after the Civil War to a noticeable degree from my understanding, and as technology continues to improve it's only becoming more and more extreme.D.Tibbitt and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
At least one town has stopped issuing vouchers and determined that they will close the city owned HUD Housing complexes. The land will then be sold for future development at a profit to the town. The people will have to relocate elsewhere.
There are some HUD Housing that is owned by Companies very close to or at the State Level and are very strong with HUD into everything as a Federal Regulated housing, with inspections and son for all tenents within. Those are the good ones. Waiting lists are years to get into some of these places. I know of one in Cabot where you are required to individually maintain a minimum of 5000 dollars in the bank ready to pay rent a year ahead should you get really sick or have trouble in later elderly years. That particular complex is full of well off people who can keep 5000 on ice indefinately for years and not worry about much of anything.
Now if you were to see the Projects near 95 in the Cross Bronx, or the Memphis Clementine or others around the USA, you realize you need a army with heavy weapons and armor to clear those infested evil places out. It will take a great deal of money to demo those 50+ year old housing towers and rebuild with something a little more supportive of people in general rather than warehousing them enmasse. With the drugs, guns and everything else rotting it all.
However, in America the best position is to be a home owner, paid for. Free and clear on your own land. The only bills to worry about is gasoline, electricity and food. Everything else will take care of itself. And that is where most of the problems are. For example in Maryland you can shake a stick at any half a dozen half million dollar homes between Baltimore and DC any time. But you will NOT find low income housing being built specifically as those are carefully regulated away from their counties etc. To keep the "Riff raff" out. And they do a good job of it. If they want HUD, they can darn well go to Baltimore Downtown and endure the violence and shootings there. But not find any out in the valleys and mountains to the west. No way.
That will have to change. We are a aging Nation and there are going to be a awful lot of millions who will have need of that.D.Tibbitt and truckdriver31 Thank this. -

Funny thing is that most of the money is going to corporations, the same ones that got billions of dollars in tax cuts. How come they didn't save for rainy days?
