My guess is he’s afraid he’s overweight and wants us to somehow be able to tell him he’s not.

OK, Did I read something wrong? 15 ft from the back door. 42k, Ain’t no way to make the Load Legal, if it’s loaded evenly. The only choice here is to slide tandems forward all the way, and run as low on fuel as possible. Don’t even waste money or time to weigh it. Save it for the overweight ticket from Drives being at 38k or more. Lol. I doubt this is a Legit posting,’someone’s bored.

VA will let you slide your tandems to get axle weight OK as long as you aren't over gross weight. -
There is a gauge analog that will tell you what your arride is carrying. I think it's around 48 PSI at 34000 on drives. Its been a while.
I always scale loads before any DOT Coop.
It is good to have a truck and trailer full fuel, you in it and your stuff weighed empty by Cat Scale. Then you know exactly what they can stick in the trailer without going over gross and axle give or take. Pallet patterns matter as does the trailer tandems. The steers less so. -
I'm completely confused now.
