Here is a random sampling of available reefer and dry van trucks on DAT as of right now within a 150 mile radius of major cities. I left the destination blank, so they could be going anywhere. If nothing changes within the next week or two, these numbers will decrease dramatically.

    787 - Sacramento CA
    1044 - Los Angeles CA
    785 - Portland OR
    1023 - Seattle WA
    675 - Reno NV
304 - Salt Lake City UT
    190 - Denver CO
    1009 - Las Vegas
    438 - Phoenix
    138 - Albuquerque NM
    129 - El Paso TX
    818 - Dallas/FW TX
    730 - OKC OK
    887 - Kansas City MO
    2961 - St Louis MO
    3910 - Chicago IL
    4150 - Indianapolis IN
    2055 Nashville TN
    1702 Atlanta GA
    534 = Tampa FL
    1690 - Charlotte NC
    2311 - Columbus OH
    2331 - Pittsburgh PA
    1950 - NYC NY
    1103 - Boston MA

I told my other trucks the end was near.

They're like,"Wtf are you talking about?"

I said per the rate slide thread on TTR, you are DOOMED!!!!

They're like,"When is it going to happen?"

    I said last Halloween.

JonJon78, mp4694330 and PPLC Thank this.

I tried to do a search on DAT to see how many loads are on there total but it won’t work.

That number of loads doesn’t really say anything without knowing what the totals are from years past.

It's irrelevant. It's what's available right now, this minute.

There's still excellent freight available. For us anyway. We're all blowin and goin.

Asked everyone if they want to go home, and sit until the virus scare is done.

    No. Why would we?
