Man it makes me want to try to tarp that load. What can be so hard lol

 

After the driver went inside I took a picture of the wheels on the green thing. Just a dually and a weird long trailer...
Please tell me there's some good reason for the edge protectors here. I'm confused and or scared....

On a serious note, I would love to know who makes that ratchet. It looks like you pull down to tension the strap rather then push up, the teeth on the spool are backwards. I saw a trucker in England use a similar ratchet on YouTube and I have been trying to find one ever since.

 

You can probably take the pins out of the winch and turn it around yourself. Everything should work just as well in reverse on the standard 2" ratchet.

 

Good eye, I never would have picked up on that just looking at the picture.

 

Not sure where it was purchased but I found a 3" adjustable ratchet strap on the tarping station at muscle shoals. Just the ratcheting end so of no use. But leads me to believe that it's for sale in the states somewhere.... Heavy s.o.b....

I think he was specifically referring to the type that ratchets in reverse, but perhaps I'm mistaken.
