The way I understand this PPP loan is that you will effectively not lay off yourself. You will, with accordance of the loan purpose stay active...searching load boards...book a load every now...keep your payroll running. All you have to do in return is to keep yourself on payroll (that is collect money & pay taxes). The loan will be up 100% forgivable and even if some of it is not, you will repay it after 6 months at 1% in 2 years. -
Midwest Trucker, PPDCT and TallJoe Thank this.

The thing that some folks are having a hard time understanding is that the PPP & EIDL are 2 separate programs.
The whole $10,000 advance thing on the EIDL was really bungled by the SBA & the way it was presented in the beginning. They've since clarified and cleared up the confusion.HopeOverMope and PPDCT Thank this. -

So Scooter is that the PPP ACH or the EIDL ACH? I applied for the 10k out of curiosity but haven’t done anything on the PPP.
I’m definitely starting to get some extra calls from drivers. We never stopped advertising as I need to fill 2 seats. Well, it was no change until yesterday. Had a few calls between yesterday and today. Same story... “no work”.FoolsErrand Thanks this. -
