I'm headed to Cville tomorrow and low on hours too. I did manage to stock up on groceries today, but could use some rest.

 

I delivered in Avon this afternoon, expecting to reload from there for Lithia Springs. Glad I didn't get that. Got Niagara Falls to Neenah, instead. They've kept me moving pretty well over the past week even if I did get a bunch of short runs in a row. Only thing that sucks is that I don't have the hours to deliver this Neenah load Monday.

 

Unload was pretty quick there. No idea about load though.

 

Hoping this next week will get back running good miles.

 

From the sounds of my dispatcher Mike, it ain’t good. All the transportation news I read has projected gloomy days ahead.
Me, Indy yesterday to Milwaukee today. D&H In W Allis back to Indy for tomorrow. Mike was even apologizing for the crappy loads but that’s all he has. I didn’t give him any crap, I know what’s going on. Ain’t his fault.
With that said, I’m just taking this in stride. Seems like I’m only working about 50% capacity but stop and think, there are peeps with no work at all who have a family to take care of.
Lord help us.

 

Great attitude I feel the same way. Right now every load is a blessing. Millions are unemployed, and there is a lot of competition for the loads that are available. Just got to keep plugging away and play the hand that is dealt in the near term. I have an awesome dispatcher and I know he is working his butt off to get his drivers loads.

 

I got an unexpected benefit this morning at Molson Coors in Trenton when I was checking out, they included a gift card for McDonald's with the paperwork. What a nice surprise.

 

I haven't been to the Trenton brewery in quite awhile, but when I was in Elkton last week, they fed us hot dogs and chips and gave me a 12 pack of canned water.

 

That's nice too.

 

Thats for those days that line is wrapped clear back around and you call Uber eats to bring food while waiting to gtfo of that hell hole lmao
