Prime Background?

My guess would be a resounding NO! I was terminated from my last employer. The rest of my history is clean. They wouldn't even give me a phone call to tell me no. They didn't even know the circumstances surrounding my termination, and didn't seem to care. When I called to check on my application they just said they wouldn't hire me because I had been terminated. You can try but if I were you I wouldn't get my hopes up. Good luck.

 

I had issues with my past---I mean way in the past (early 70's) On their app they don't ask about anything past I think it was 7 years. But when yo get there they ask about arrests in your entire lifetime. So I sat down and wrote about every little thing (about 10) one was a felony for which I was aquitted. I sweated it out for 3 hours before security told me they were so long ago that they didn't matter and they hired me. I'm pretty sure that certain felonies are not acceptable no matter how long its been and I'm sure I don't have to spell out what they are. But if you tell them the truth before they send in your fingerprints you'll be better off.

 

Texas, I think you have a good shot. It's definately much harder to get hired with a Felony right now as it is when the economy is good, but your felony was some time ago. Prime will ask you about any criminal record since your "first breath" when you get there. If you're honest about it, they will most likely let you hire on. If you lie, you'll be on the next bus out. The guy who does the backgrounds is a former CHP officer of 20-something years, so he knows what he's doin.
