If u want to change companies .. All the daeske companies are the best paying general flatbed freight companies there is... spd out of washington and central oregon out of oregon.. I know cotc has that setup ur running with the 4 axle flat and pusher axle on truck... ive never talked to a cotc driver that wasnt happy...they all say the same thing. The company take cares of u and gives u all the miles u want....

 

Im percentage, I run the truck like it's mine.If I were to break down my pay to cpm it'd average around .50cpm, sometimes I do better.

I've always heard good things about Systems. I will say I've never seen a 3 axle truck of theirs before. I guess I didn't know they did HH. Definitely impressed.

I'll tell you this. Don't always equate more miles = more $. That's pure company driver steering wheel holder thinking. You have to look at gross revenue to the truck week over week, month over month. Even as a, co driver I know my expenses, fixed and variable. I get zero bonuses for fuel mileage, not idling, etc. Just safety bonuses. In turn I have almost full autonomy over my truck and everything done to it. But that doesn't help my bank account.

Don’t need to be an engineer. All you need is two or more pieces of rope, 50-75 feet. Unroll the tarp where you want it. No need to fully unfold. Just get one edge. Tie the ropes so that they are half moon loops, over lap in the center area. Sling them over the load. Go around and pull over.

 

Ah first for me. Had to done the mask and eyewear to find some pads for the 56 yo ex today ,

she said she wanted to take a picture of me donned in my gear with her pads coming through the door.

1st time needed in 7 months. She said the same thing. Being a Midlife women Sucks.

 

Not all loads created equal hard to pull over Lowe’s and Home Depot loads for example but I will try with some nice lumber load some time

 

If your happy with what your income, then its good.
It sounds like your in the better range. The question is are the miles enough to keep a reasonable weeks pay.
