Most container chassis that I see around here are junk.......

 

yes permanent with 2 speed transfer case.
highways here bought 6x4's with side plow, they have fast changing system between tipper and spreader, so with spreader alone there is even less pressure on axles, this wont work good.

i have a list of 170 bodybuilders and trailer manufacturers from NL.
they got some brilliant ideas, customers demand lot and they are rich country

+very important, laws are liberal, if they have 40t total weight half of thins will not exist. there is not too much things they cant make.


french bodybuilders are ####, among worst in europe (i would say spain is worst).

german market demand reasonable level of quality, reasonable level of price, good look, fast production time and support.

german bodybuilders are very complicated, they make problem about non important things, like position of 5th wheel, at same time they miss important things, you can waste one month with them in communication.

for example german market has trailer hook with air and electrics for trailer(which is listed in specs) as deafult. concrete pump truck cant have trailer hook and it must be removed, there is code in germany that says without trailer hook, electrics and air. here if you want hook you must select it, so same is not listed in specs. they demand code without trailer hook, electrics and air, i takes 1 week to explain them this, it is not one case, it will repeat for every truck. there are some that know things, some are complete idiots, but overall they are complicated.

i like dont like italian bodybuilders they are not serious, they overlook everything (opposite of german) and say it is not problem we will do it, they dont respect agreed production dates, there is very few companies from italy that are somehow serious, obviously their healthcare system is similar.

i like austrian bodybuilders, they are very very serious (and very expensive), product quality is very high, easy to deal with them, they have high attention to details and individual solution, problem is that they often dont talk english.

i mostly like to deal with bodybuilders from slovenia, they give best balance between price vs. product quality, individual solutions, good production times, serious and flexible, close and simplified transport.

 

Ya but the NL is stuck with Caesar........
