How has Coronavirus affected you?

The shame is that Fox "news" and the criminal in the big house will cause folks like you and others to get sick and die along with innocent health care workers all because these few want to have power. Your belief in them is sad....and dangerous.

 

Yeah that’s something a lot of people especially when I go in and out of truckstops don’t seem to understand. I wear a full face mask. The kind with the shield and a respirator. The reason I wear that is because I had it from when I do stonework. I can’t get my hands on just regular every day N 95 mask so what the heck I figured I’ll just wear it. The other day I walked into a truckstop in this big old truck or walked right up to me and said “don’t you think that’s overkill you look ridiculous man”. I looked At him and said “well maybe I’m doing this for you because you just came within 2 feet of me and talked right in my face and if I had the virus guess who just got it?“.

Some people just don’t get it. If you can do things to avoid catching it, or giving it to someone, why not?

 

Maybe? Lol.

 

Yup and all the news channels that are brainwashing you have an agenda.

 

23 years in the garbage industry and I have never been told there is not enough work. Well I haul industrial and construction roll off. We are down in loads. So this is currently presenting a 40 hr 4 day work week. Average is 50-55 year round year in year out. Only thing saving me is I have 25 paid days a year so im filling the 5th day not working with a vacation day. Hope all you people are hanging in there.

 

Other than folks hoarding toilet paper...None.

Not all truckdrivers go up and down interstates, with lots of rest areas and truckstops. My personal difference is very limited bathrooms. I see small towns locked down, the local C-store only taking orders thru the front door, and maybe a porta potty every 50 miles. And they don't make portapotties in size Large.

How exactly am I going to find somewhere private or out of view to use a bucket, cuz that isnt gonna happen anywhere except outside of my truck. And that isnt gonna happen on an exit ramp, as I've seen the real OTR truckers do.
