The bad thing is alot of the companys that pay this way are the only ones with miles. I get paid for every mile i write down, Got to love the old pencil.
-
I think I need to clarify. My truck get's paid percentage & I pay myself out of that off the actual miles driven....
I'm not looking for miles. I'll run them if that is all I have available... But if the short runs are there I'd prefer those. I can make more per day running short loads then what I can running a 2000 mile load. -
So you take your 10 at the fuel island ?
-
Umm...no.

But I don't log driving through the parking lot either...if thats what you're getting at.
FriedTater Thanks this. -
The only logs that matter are the ones you turn in.
Run'em loose and run F R E E . . . . .
-
We run a guaranteed 700 miles a day coast to coast.....most day more. DOT never says anything about our logs except when my partner colors in her's then it's "nice pictures".

On the autobahn in germany..ha ha ha ha -
most anyplace out west. I run Colo., NM, NE, Wyo., Ut, SD, ND. Even Kansas will let you slide on 75 mph if your not an idiot or abusing it.
Really? Your a DOT inspector? The company I work for get's audited by USDOT every year, never once had an inspector question a 750 mile day or a 73 mph avg. speed on a run. I've had them question more 55 mph avg. days though.
Trucks can't go that fast -
Ok reading all this makes me wonder. I need to take a leak at least every 6 hours. The math you guys are posting up here looks like 11 or 12 or 13 hours straight.... do all of you pee in a cup going down the road doing the 700+ mile days?
