I’m currently driving for a truckload carrier, we were all furloughed. Money isn’t as good but it certainly beats the hassle of unemployment.

Unemployment took about 10 minutes on the computer for me. I have to do it one time a month. Not my normal wages but for $1,150 a week it sure beats nothing. I tried the truckload gig years ago when I was laid off at UPS.skinnytrucker Thanks this.

The company has been sending out daily email updates as to the process with the state of Tennessee... seems like the process was a big mess and our guys were having tremendous trouble.

The southern states not only pay the lowest benefits they pay the fewest claims look at Florida $275 per week and in the past only paid on 20% of claims. The fed money should be a sure thing and is far more generous than most states payout in a regular claim. Some states outdated systems have them corresponding with snail mail, sad situation.
