My coolant temp normal stay just the 170 mark on the dash when outside temp is around 75 and below, even going up a hill with a slight raise. As soon as the outside temp goes above 75, the coolant temp starts climbing up to the 210 mark if I don't turn on the fan.
I changed the CAC and radiator because they was leaking, thermostat, and egr cooler. Don't know what else that would control the temp of the coolant.
Any advice would be appreciated

What Temp. does the cooling fan turn on if you dont turn it on yourself?

This is normal operation once 210 fan starts drop to 180 than all over again.
Socal Xpress Thanks this. -
It stay shy of 210 on flat roads, at speeds of 65 to 70 mph, Won't hit the 210 mark so the fans will turn on. I have to manually turn on the fans to cool it down. If not it stays there. Just wondering why it does this s soon as the outside temp good higher than 75 to 78 degrees.Last edited: Apr 23, 2020

well d16 runs a little hotter there is also a solenoid same like fan solenoid that you replaced that control air pressure in the cooling system, if you check you pressure cap on the surge tank there should be an air line going to it. in my opinion its running like it is supposed to try to run ac and see if it runs a little cooler it will force fan to stay on what temp does your fan come on normaly have you ever checked or do you just turn on yourself to keep it cooler.

The fan only comes on at 210 when rolling. when idling like every 15 or so with ac on. Last summer it stayed hovering above the 170, then I think it started when I cleaned the EGR air tube sensors. So maybe I just answer my question.
