we had air bag pop, we replaced it and went on our way. made delivery 200 miles away, went to pick up, got loaded, then driver noticed the bag was layed over again. we assumed it was improper installation and got another bag installed. well we didn't even leave the parking lot of loves and driver stopped to check it and it was layed over again. now loves is saying that the hole in the base is wallowed out and is causing the bag to shift off the base. have any of yall heard of this. whats the fix if any. any info would help as we will be trying to repair it tomorrow morning.

Doesn't look like the right airbag to me. Either that or its missing a plate or something underneath to support it better.
Silly question but how does the mounting compare to its twin on that axle? Can you post the same pics but of the other bag on that axle? Just for comparison.Bean Jr., baha and 3ARTransport Thank this. -
the new bag had a metal base and was replaced at loves, im hoping they swapped out for the correct one. either way this is the second bag in 24 hrs, i thinking its something like loves guy descried. thanks

That isn't the right bag any one with 1 eye and half sense can see that
Bean Jr., AModelCat and 3ARTransport Thank this. -
Yep gonna go with Wore on that one. The pocket in the base of the new air bag is too big for the bracket.

so im doing some thinking and looking at pics and the idiots that put the bag in west Memphis may have put the wrong bag, so we pull into loves and the loves guy just swapped the bag without cross ref any number or getting bag info off trailer vin. either way ive spent $1100 on crap right now and im just hoping this is it. with rates the way they are im sick to my stomach to think on how easily a #### air bag can eat all your profit

It may be the angle or the light, but the brake looks way out of adjustment in the last pic.
