Most are open here in Arkansas, except a few counties that have ordered their county offices to be closed. Though they have expanded online services.

I'll note, that it took a bloody red lunar eclipse for the Sox to win the series. Took some Santeria to lift the curse.
The 26 times we did it on the other hand,,,
(Side note, what other legacy team still hasn't won? Even the Cubs finally beat that goat. Who's left? Cleveland?)Dale thompson Thanks this. -
This is going to sound crazy, and don't shoot me, I'm only the messenger.
Several countries have been noticing that a very low percentage of people who test positive for Coronavirus are smokers. We've all be hearing that smokers are at higher risk because of damage to our lungs, when just the opposite is true. It appears that nicotine somehow prevents the virus from attacking cells in our body. The CDC did a study of 7,000 people in the US who either have Covid19 or tested positive for it. They found that only 1.3% of them were smokers when 13% of Americans smoke. They checked with other countries and they are seeing the same results.
I have to admit, I've smoked for over 40 years and I rarely get sick. I can't remember the last time I had the flu, and I rarely get even a cold. Of course I'll probably die of lung cancer or COPD, but I've known that all along.
Here is the story if anybody is interested in reading more.
Coronavirus: Can smoking protect against COVID-19? Study supports claimBigDog Trucker, MACK E-6, Dale thompson and 1 other person Thank this. -
I too am a smoker, and seldom get sick.
The last time I shut down for being sick was nearly 8 years ago, and then it was for only 2 days.
No vaccines, and few precautions.
A lot of these reports and findings just show how strange this virus actually is.
On the other hand, the whole world has not concentrated its research on a single virus as much as it has with this one.
This is the first time most of the world has shut down for a little bug, and there is much more intensive research happening with this one.
I wonder what that level of research in so short of time would yield on some other viruses?
When was the last time people were tested for anti-bodies for a singular virus on such a scale?
As far as I can recall, this is the first time such a test has been used like this.
But this time, it is all the rage.
And what does it show so far?
That most people that have anti-bodies have had no symptoms or only very mild symptoms.
It is showing that this virus is not the end of the world, unless we make it so by over-reacting to it.nredfor88, Kyle G., SteveScott and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hey theyre gonna eventually dump it all there anyway. Why waste?Moosetek13 Thanks this.
