I've got a buddy that puts up photos of his truck on FB regularily. In winter he's running in 8-10" of fresh snow, 6 sets of triples on the drives and a steer chain lol. To me that's trucking. Go to battle in the woods and make it home with no new scars.

I remember seeing D-6s and skidders turning brodies on glare ice where the snow had started to melt then froze solid.
Running a '6 that's sliding sideways through a switchback--- and picking up speed--- makes you wish you'd taken that job at the shoe store when you had a chance.Cat sdp, okiedokie, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this. -

I've spent all the time I ever want to spend with a couple of bottle jacks, wooden blocks, and a choker putting a trailer back on.
And if, on top of all that, you're stuck you get to watch the trucks behind you creep carefully by and take your loading spot. -
