You sure you got the right switch? One is normally open, one is normally closed.

This is what it looks like when i got old one out
Not sure if they both looks same but function different , I showed thedealer pic i posted here with the description of the symptoms and he provided the replacement ... I believed its made by HONEYWELL and says low pressure switchAttached Files:

...just screw in and attach 2 contact terminals...old ones body was leaking ... Was pita to unscrew it ....

They have tiny writing on them, starting with no or nc, for normally open and normally closed. Followed by some numbers. One is the low air warning buzzer, kicks in at 60 lbs. other is brake light switch, kicks in when 5 lbs if pressure is applied.

I can’t remember which one is which. I lost my notes on it. But It’s posted somewhere on here.

I’m thinking you got the wrong low buzzer switch, when you needed a brake light switch, maybe, causing brake lights to stay on. Maybe if you pump brakes down , below 60 psi, brake lights will go off. Lol. Just an idea.
