I’d probably transition to the gov tit for now. Give up. Get used to it. Obey. (Sarcasm)

Kinda like anything in trucking, if you can get paid enough you can make money.
Or you can work for peanuts and go broke. Probably outta know which it is before you start

i guess to clarify my first comment as to hopefully sound like im not just trying to be negative. lots of major negative factors in place this year not expecting a good year. i normally do quite well with a side dump threw the summer months. its the slow months that normally starve off a lot of people.

first off its a election year, election years are generally bad years for construction work to start with.

then you have a major down turn in oil this year. last oil down turn we had here in northdakota all the oil feild trucks went out and bought belly dumps and side dumps and cut rates so bad i parked my side dump most of that summer, i don't know what they were thinking but they were bidding at rates where my costs to be at, most of them were gone by the following year, can only assume they ran themselves broke.

then with the corona virus im hearing a lot of the jobs for this summer are at least temporarily on hold.

so basically this year im expecting a glut of trucks willing to run for nothing and less than normal demand.

i hope I'm wrong but i think its going to be a rough year no mater what segment of the industry your in to be honest.

There no more good ways to make GOOD money in the Trucking Industry...to many of them think if their wheels are turning they are earning...not true!

You can break even sitting at home!!
