My problem is not changes in general... :biggrin_25512: but to detach from this vehicle that I love.... :biggrin_2557:
I guess I am doing what my mom and dad did... Mom... and dad kept their old Volkswagen 81 till they died.... they named him Fusquinha... that vehicle had all kinds of work done on it, mechanical, body work, was painted millions of times, everything was replaced and dad never wanted do sell it... Even after I gave him another vehicle... I used to say he wanted to be buried with the vehicle...
After he passed away last year, his second wife decided to keep it... cause it gives her memories of him... And I like that... :yes2557:

Actually, folks in their little town had some kind of festivities celebrating "old stuff"... and asked to use Fusquinha to participate in the festivity...

Change the oil and filter first. Filter is probably gunked up. Do it soon to prevent a problem. See what come from that.

You know what... Tahoe did that same groan when turning, thought ah its just old. Turned out the high side hose was throwing fluid. Replaced that and its fine.

You throwing fluid or losing air somewhere up front?

I don't know what age group you are in, but in the mid 50's Ive learned that everything comes and goes in life. Its nice to keep a item whatever it be for whatever reason. But at some point it might have to go. Its tough. The line for me is everthing has to have a use constantly or it's in the way.

There has been way too many families choking on materialism in my world first hand. Tornado comes along and sweeps the slab clean and they are broken. What a tragedy. I started off with one suitcase and a rack of clothes plus a all season outer. That has happened often in trucking. And I can do it again just as easily. Probably even more so now that insurance is on hand for the crap in the home.

Vehicles are more difficult to let go. And I am dealing with that question on my end. Its going to cost X dollars to make healthy again or do I spend the same X replacing the thing. Its something thats going to be resolved at some point. It wont be the first car or truck that burned up with me Ive been through about 14 in my lifetime more or less. I might have only kept two of those for reliability or sentimental reasons other than easy fix. (Easy rust too... ha..)

@Rocks Just testing it still works. Wasn't sure if I needed to re-qualify for knowing how to get your attention. ;)

Plus, it's a cat. In a bug. Laughing...or jamming out, or maybe even high, I'm not sure.

The last one is..well...I dunno, but I blame...Brokers, HOS, and Covid19. I also blame my step ladder. I never knew my real one you see, so I got ladder issues. If you don't believe me I got otter excuses and more bad puns.

    ;)

Sirscrapntruckalot - Sorry for the ladder joke, I had an extra one from a ladder thread, it slipped out. I'm sorry if it was rung of me to share it here.
