Looking around in another thread....its amazing how stupid some of these self claiming guiness idiots are on what constitutes a good rate or how to run a business. Then explain why they need to work because they haven't worked for a few days or weeks !......wheres yer savings ? Wheres yer profits to fall back on ? Cracks me up !

 

One guy running 3000mi in a week for 4100$ or something came out to 1.16mi.

Saw where one bragged how he got his own authority to keep from brokering. Then goes right out and hauls for said brokers ! .....DUH !

 

Stupid plug came out of the rocker shaft again. Back head this time. Guess that one is getting a tac weld now.

Anyone else blowing through horton 550 clutches. Replaced it for the 2nd time in 2 years on the 99. Crappy design to begin with. The bearing fails. Did some digging and was able to get a # off the bearing and cross ref it.

 

You know something. This just came up away from this site. I cant recall and need to do some asking. And Pops is gone. But my family has been owner ops trucking either 97 or 100 years this year. Great gramps bought his first log truck either 1920, or 1923. 1918 chain drive Mack. Before that they skidded logs with mule. Now two lessons.

1. No one got rich, and no one partnered with eachother.

2. This stuff gotta get worse to stop me.
