Steer axle crack

    If it bothers you ( i think it does) it can be replaced but i don't think it does. Doesn't appear to be leaking oil. Speaking of oil, mayby clean around the rubber plug and make sure there is oil in side. Check on the site glass for proper level. If your not sure how to do it..don't. Have someone with experience show you.

    Literally a less than 5 minute job to change that. Fill hub back up with oil, let sit a few minutes, top off, repeat until full. Roll around the parking lot, let it settle and make sure its full. Then hit the highway. Check the level again at the next stop.

    its not even leaking. thats the sealing surface. leave it alone. i dont even see a crack

    you a new trucker bud? its easy to get worked up over the smallest litlle things if you dont know any better. Eventally you will learn the mechanics of the truck in time

    I am driver for 5 years. Owner 4 years. But I didn’t have this problem before. Didn’t want to make any mistake . And I don’t have tools and parts . Thanks
