6.6 / 198 cm. I grew this much until 16 years of age and then stopped. I wish I were 6.4. In my generation,
I was too tall and sorry arse I could not find a girl to date me when I was a teenager. Only ugliest would not mind.
I was discriminated, e.g. I was not admitted to a dance class... they called me Eifel tower and giraffe...and a telegraph pole, including teachers! I wish I could sue them all now!!!! Poor me.
I am 49 now, and they still ask me how tall I am everywhere... .that's so unfair. I think they want to offend me. I think I need some Texas laws to protect me.
No hate for too tall!
No hate for menlets either!Last edited: May 9, 2020

6'6" is not too tall to ride motorcycles. Michael Jordan was big into sportbikes. Even Shaq rides or used to, but his bikes were raked out and customized.

I really don't give a #### about being “right” I just sometimes feel a need to correct false information. There is so much fake news and false narrative making the rounds these days that we are being destroyed by it. Poor information leads to poor decisions, which lead to poor outcomes. Welcome to America.
When someone, well meaning as they may be, throws out a false fact in a public setting, that fact is almost invariably picked up and broadcast far and wide through the miracle of the internet. Enough people pick up and repeat the falsehood and it becomes part of some narrative which is used to justify all sorts of opinions and actions. Because those opinions and narratives and actions are based on a false premise they rarely yield a positive outcome.
If people are running around whining about “high taxes” I want to know exactly what taxes are they talking about and what do they define as “high” The powers that be love it, because while everybody is tilting at their windmill of choice, they're doing stuff like this- Congress Sets Up Taxpayers to Eat $454 Billion of Wall Street’s Losses. Where Is the Outrage? with nary a whisper from the people.
I'll wager that none of the people whining about “Commiefornia” can define communism and explain how California resembles a communist state. I wonder how many folks that are stampeding for EIDL grants, PPP loans, mortgage forbearance, unemployment supplements and their stimulus checks complain about socialism and big government? No sir, no hypocrisy here, just move along now.......
I do apologize if you felt personally attacked, once again I'm just trying to correct the record. This is about the only social media I allow myself for this very reason & this thread is far from the worst offender here. Maybe when I retire I'll appoint myself the X1 Heavy minister of factual accuracy for TTR.
And finally, I can't remember when my avatar picture was taken, but the bike is in my garage, I still ride it and I still do wheelies on it. I'm taking one of my BMW's on our (legal in our county) group ride tomorrow, but I'll make it a point to yank one for you when I'm out on Highway 1. And I'll swap the photo out for one that you'll hopefully find a little less offensive.brank, mladen86, JonJon78 and 1 other person Thank this. -
This thread does provide some variety. Lots of good guys interact on a lot of different subjects.
I don't hate California, or pot, per se. In fact, now that I know that Board Hauler's 80k bucks a year cushy trucking job is highly contingent on the pot market, I might go out and buy an eighth of Kush with some of my PPP money to help keep his wheels rolling during these difficult timesBrettj3876, PPDCT, Dale thompson and 1 other person Thank this. -

Hopefully freight will start picking up in the next 2 weeks to no more then a month. Around here where I live you wouldn't think any “pandemic” was happening. The roads are packed with cars and people are out buying stuff and doing things. Monday marks the first day of businesses of all types reopening.
Most people aren’t wearing a mask either which is down from about 50% of people. I think everyone is over it and ready to be normal again.
We will see!Last edited: May 9, 2020
