    I'll give you a little free advice.

    Looking for direct customers? Don't knock on the doors of shippers, knock on the door of receivers. A lot of the time receivers arrange for a carrier and pay the shipping costs, not the shipper.

    And stop getting offended at your competition ribbing you. This is a cut throat business and it's up to you to figure things out BEFORE you open for business. If it was that easy finding direct clients, everybody would do it.

    Maybe ask the government to add a new law requiring brokers to share how they get their customers. This should make it more fair for everyone.

    Just because people won't validate what was obviously a bad idea doesn't give you the right to insult them.
